Visit Hoffman History Hut during Harvest Festival

You are invited to visit the Hoffman History Hut during the weekend of the 62nd annual Hoffman Harvest Festival, according to its owner, Ruth Johnson. Hours are on Friday, August 13 from 1pm to 5pm, Saturday, August 14 from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, August 15 from 11am to 1:30pm (when the parade begins). It is located on Main Street in Hoffman, to the right of the Hoffman Grocery.

The feature exhibit of the History Hut during the Harvest Festival is "A glimpse of Hoffman businesses 50 years ago." Ruth Johnson coordinated the publishing of the Hoffman Centennial book, spending hundreds of hours on its writing and assembly.

Permanent exhibits at the History Hut will also be featured - "Faith of our Fathers", a church exhibit - and "Readin', Ritin', and Remembering", a rural Hoffman school exhibit.

The Hoffman Bearcat classes of 1960 and 1965 will also be celebrating reunions that weekend.
