The CAHN Spartans improve to 2-0 in the Pheasant Conference South standings with a lopsided 48-6 win at Hancock.
Only 68 seconds into the game, the Spartans scored after a 78-yard drive that culminated with an Alex Erickson quarterback sneak.
After holding the Owls on their first offensive drive, the Spartans scored with 8:22 left in the first quarter on a 54-yard touchdown reception by Mac Kampmeier.
With 5:08 on the clock, the Spartans started another touchdown drive only 44 yards from the end zone. They scored after nine plays on a Chandler Erickson five-yard touchdown run.
C. Erickson then scored from 75 yards out with 12 seconds left on the clock. The first quarter ended with the scoreboard in Hancock showing CAHN 28, Owls 0.
