A tough, tough five-game loss for the West Central Area Knights volleyball team tonight, during an exciting Homecoming match against HOL conference rival Breckenridge. They'll regroup to host Frazee (6-4) in another HOL battle Thursday at the WCA High School - come out and support your Knights this week!
Breckenridge improves to 7-5 overall and 2-1 in the HOL Conference with the win.
The other volleyball team in our coverage area, Wheaton/Herman-Norcross, dropped a Pheasant Conference match in Wheaton to Hancock - also in five games! The Warriors were up 2-1 in games before losing the final two sets. Scores were 13-25, 25-19, 25-17, 14-25, 9-15.
