Many Republicans in Minnesota continue to use intellectually dishonest debating points when blaming small towns for small towns' budget woes.
I DARE any Republican to drive out to Hoffman, MN, population 674, and tell us where to cut spending in our city budget. We spend money on police, road fixes, snow plowing, a part-time city clerk, and a part-time economic development authority director who actually brings in grant funding larger than her actual office budget.
Where do we cut?
This blog will host viewpoints by the editor on various topics, as well as information for the Farwell-Hoffman-Kensington-Donnelly-Herman-Norcross, Minnesota area residents and families, and anyone else on the world-wide web who has an interest in the success and growth of the west central Minnesota area. Farwell, Kensington, Hoffman, Donnelly, Herman, and Norcross are west central Minnesota towns located between the larger towns of Alexandria, Glenwood, Morris, and Elbow Lake.
